IAR CE Year-End Processing Update
Please note the following important changes to IAR CE status reporting for year-end 2026. Beginning December 27 at 4 p.m. ET, investment adviser representatives (IARs) whose registrations will be directly impacted by an incomplete 2025 IAR CE requirement will have their ‘CE Inactive’ IAR CE status advanced to ‘Fail-to-Renew’ and their IAR registration in IAR CE jurisdictions will be updated from APP_PENDING_IARCE to IAR_FTR with an effective date of December 31, 2026. All other IAR CE annual status updates (such as transitioning from ‘Satisfied’ for 2026 to ‘Required’ for 2027) will occur on January 1, 2027. This targeted approach will prevent these individuals from being included in their firm’s 2027 Final Renewals Statement in jurisdictions where they will fail to renew.
