We are announcing the retirement of the Individual Pre-Registration Search v2 dataset, effective February 26, 2027. 

Reason for Retirement 

This retirement follows the introduction of the U4 Form Prefill dataset, which replaces the Individual Pre-Registration Search v2 dataset with improved performance.

What You Need to Know 

• Retirement Date: February 26, 2027 
• Replacement: U4 Form Prefill dataset 
• Action Required: Firms currently using Individual Pre-Registration Search v2 must transition to the U4 Form Prefill dataset before the retirement date 

About the U4 Form Prefill Dataset 

The U4 Form Prefill dataset offers: 

• Prepopulation Form U4 Initial fields when submitting registration applications through the Submission API
• Data returned in U4 Initial submission format 
• Synchronous POST call support (improved from the asynchronous calls of Individual Pre-Registration Search v2) 
• Same parameter support as Individual Pre-Registration Search v2 for seamless migration
