The end-of-year schedule has been slightly adjusted for the period between Thursday, December 26, 2024 6PM – Tuesday, January 2, 2025 5AM. Please see the changes below under FINRA API for more information.

As in previous years, FINRA systems will have adjusted availability schedules during final renewals processing. The impacts to the WebEFT and Registration API Query and Submission Datasets are listed below. 

FINRA API

• Thursday, December 26, 2024
  • Submission processing stops at 6 p.m. (ET). Submissions received after this time will resume processing on January 2, 2025 5 AM.
• Thursday, December 26, 2024 6 PM through Tuesday, January 2, 2025 5 AM
  • APIs are accessible but most will contain data as of December 26.
  • Individual Delta and Branch Delta datasets will not return any changes during this period.
  • Composite Individual Dataset will have the Annual CE and IARCE updates. If there are individuals with CE Outstanding that need to be tracked, we recommend calling the Composite Individual dataset directly.
  • To get all individual changes that occurred during this period, our recommendation is to first process Composite individual seed file generated on  January 3rd or January 4th morning and then resume calling the Individual Delta and Composite Individual datasets to get the changes starting January 3rd.
  • To get branch changes, FINRA recommends using this date range to call Branch Delta dataset after January 2nd 5 AM.
• Saturday, December 27, 2024 – Thursday, January 1, 2025
  • Composite Individual Seed file requests made between December 27, 2024 and January 1, 2025 will not be immediately processed. To avoid duplicate file requests, we recommend NOT requesting any seed files during this time.
• Wednesday, January 1, 2025
  • Final renewal processing will complete by EOD on January 1, 2025
• Thursday, January 2, 2025
  • First recommended date to resume requesting Composite Individual Seed files. Due to the anticipated volume, files requested between December 27, 2024 and January 2, 2025 will be available by January 4, 2025 morning.
  • FINRA will resume processing API submissions. 
  • All Registration Query datasets will have real-time data starting on January 2 and our recommendation is to resume calling the datasets as of that date.

WebEFT

• Thursday, December 26, 2024
  • WebEFT Upload processing stops at 6 p.m. (ET). Uploads received after this time will not be processed until Tuesday, January 2
• Friday, December 27, 2024
  • All reports available at the usual time with data from December 26
• Saturday, December 28, 2024 through Tuesday, December 31, 2024
  • Pause in daily generation of most XML reports, only reports continuing to generate with new data are Post Annual CE and Post IAR CE
• Wednesday, January 1, 2025
  • Generate one BIR and one Delta IIR by 6 p.m. (ET) with all year-end data from December 27-31, for example:
    • BranchInformationReport_2025-01-01
    • IndividualInformationReport_2025-01-01
  • Generate separate daily posting reports by 6 p.m. (ET) with all year-end data from December 27-31.  Many files may be empty; however we recommend processing all files to ensure all data is received. For example:

    • PostAppointmentsReport_2024-12-28
    • PostAppointmentsReport_2024-12-29
    • PostAppointmentsReport_2024-12-30
