FINRA API Platform Availability During Final Renewals Processing

As in previous years, FINRA systems will have adjusted availability schedules during final renewals processing. The impacts to the Registration API Query and Submission datasets are listed below. 

IARCE Processing Updates

Friday, December 26, 2025 

  • Submission processing stops at 6:00 PM ET.
  • Submissions received after this time will resume processing on January 2, 2026, 5:00 AM ET 

Friday, December 26, 2025, 6:00 PM ET through Thursday, January 1, 2026, 5:00 AM ET 

  • Submissions are accepted during this period but are not processed and will be queued to start processing on January 2, 2026, 5:00 AM ET
  • Query Datasets Status:
    • All Query datasets are accessible, but most will contain data as of December 26th
    • Individual Delta Dataset will only return CE changes
    • Composite Individual Dataset will deliver updates to the Annual CE and IARCE that occurred during the shutdown period
    • Composite Individual Seed file requests made between December 27, 2025, and January 2, 2026, will be queued with response files becoming available between the mornings of January 3rd or 4th, 2026; please poll the response endpoint at regular intervals to check if your file is ready
      • January 2, 2026, is the earliest recommended date to resume requesting Composite Individual Seed files
    • Branch Delta will NOT return any changes 

Thursday, January 1, 2026 

  • Final renewal processing will complete by EOD on January 1, 2026
  • Individual Delta will start reflecting changes made to individuals as renewal processing occurs throughout the day
  • Composite Individual will also begin reflecting changes resulting from renewal processing 

Friday, January 2, 2026, after 5:00 AM ET 

  • FINRA will resume processing API submissions.
  • All Registration Query datasets will have real-time data starting on January 2nd.
  • Earliest recommended date to resume requesting Composite Individual Seed files.
