This is a reminder that FINRA will be implementing security enhancements to the fileX SFTP SSH Ciphers and Algorithms in PRODUCTION at the end of February 2026.

ACTION REQUIRED:
If you transfer files via fileX SFTP, you must update your system configurations to use the newly supported SSH Ciphers and Algorithms before the end of February 2026. Failure to update your configuration will result in an inability to access the fileX application via SFTP.

What You Need to Do:

• Review the list of newly supported Ciphers and Algorithms here
• Update your systems accordingly before the February 2026 deadline
• Test your connection in either QA or CT environment (available now)
