RSL Completeness Check has been turned on in FINRA API Test Environment
RSL Completeness Check in U4 submissions is now turned on in the QA Test environment. With the completeness check being enabled, test U4 submissions will fail if RSL value is not provided for any non-registered private residence. See here for API payload samples for an RSL update. Also, see here for RSL Update key dates.
The completeness check will not be applied to U4 submissions made via WEBEFT. In addition, WEBEFT will not support any RSL updates via U4 filings. "Non-registered Locations With RSL Status" report in FINRA Gateway can be used to get a list of residential locations that might need an RSL update.
