As in previous years, FINRA systems will have adjusted availability schedules during final renewals processing. The impacts to the Registration API Query and Submission datasets are outlined below.

Sunday, December 27, 2026

• Submission processing stops at 6:00 PM ET.
• Submissions received after this time will resume processing on January 2, 2027, at 8:00 AM ET.

Sunday, December 27, 2026, 6:00 PM ET through Saturday, January 2, 2027, 8:00 AM ET

• Submissions are accepted during this period but will not be processed; they will be queued to begin processing on January 2, 2027, at 8:00 AM ET.
• Composite Individual Seed file requests made between December 27, 2026, and January 2, 2027, will be queued, with response files becoming available between the mornings of January 3rd and 4th, 2027. Please poll the response endpoint at regular intervals to check whether your file is ready.
• January 2, 2027, is the earliest recommended date to resume requesting Composite Individual Seed files.

Sunday, December 27, 2026, 6:00 PM ET through Thursday, December 31, 2026, Early Afternoon

• All Query datasets are accessible, but most will reflect data as of December 27th.
• The Individual Delta Dataset will return CE changes only.
• The Composite Individual dataset will include all standard fields, but only the Annual CE and IAR CE sections will contain up-to-date data.

Thursday, December 31, 2026 – Late Afternoon

• The Individual Delta, Composite Individual, Branch Delta, and Composite Branch datasets will begin reflecting registration-related changes.
• Final renewal processing will be complete by EOD on January 1, 2027.

Saturday, January 2, 2027, after 8:00 AM ET

• FINRA will resume processing API submissions.
• All Registration Query datasets will have real-time data.  
• 2027 Renewals data for individuals will be available via the FIRM Renewal Dataset.
